Ruqyah and solutions for blackmagic , envy and jealousy: A afflicted persons insight

Greetings everybody. At first glance you might wonder what is Ruqyah.

Muslims are somewhat acquainted with this term.

Ruqyah’ means to “clam down, to protect or to prevent harm”

Why would a person need Ruqyah?

Normally most people need for cure are met from doctors and Hospitals but still the problem stays.

Ruqyah’ requires faith , meaning if a person is an atheist it wont provide the cure.

For Christians (Note)

Remember “ Jesus and Sick boy”

Mathew 17:14-21

Jesus is asked to heal a boy with epilepsy and he replies

“You have no faith” . Then the demon was cast out. I read it three decades ago in the 1980s , Gospel of Barnabas “.

This act was an example of Ruqyah.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) performed Ruqyah’ . In short it is use of Quranic ayats to provide cure.

Cure against what ?

Cute against the following:

.Jealousy

Envy or Unintended jealousy or Nazar’ (in urdu)

Black Magic.

As a Muslim boy , I did not much believe but knew these things, but after 3 decades I have to say these things in Islam and what elders in Muslim households say are somewhat real.

For Ruqyah-Belief in Allah or God’ is mandatory.

Actually note , bit of topic.

Allah is name to Creator of the Universe .

There are seven heavens . Our earth is in first heaven and

there are 700 quintillion planets in first heaven. There are seven heavens so multiply 7 times 700 quintillion.

Allah is Creator of all the heavens and all creations.

The Abrahamic faiths mention as

Allah-Islam

God’ - Christianity. Actually in original language of Bible it is called ‘Alaha’ . That is Aramaic.

All three abrahamic religions come from Middle East and none of three comes from Europe . To be honest , accept fact where your Prophet or saint comes instead of branding him such that he is from your community and race. Anyway today’s post is about another subject

Ishwar’- Hinduism. They have many demi gods but the One We call Allah , the hindus call Ishwar or Brahman.

What does Quran say?

“Say, "Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever [name] you call - to Him belong the best names." And do not recite [too] loudly in your prayer or [too] quietly but seek between that an [intermediate] way.”

-Quran-17:110

The concept and strength of Almighty Allah is important before starting Ruqyah.

The Quran says

“And to Allah belong the soldiers of the heavens and the earth. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise”

Quran (48:7)

Once a person has this knowledge then he/she will not fear the supernatural or unseen.

All above problems are done by

  • Black Magic
  • Jinn(demons or bad jinns)
  • sins
The afflicted person must make sure that he/she
  • Belief in One Creator and Lord
  • prays five times a day (Muslim)
  • Does Istigfar’ or seeks forgiveness for current and past sins.
  • Makes an intention to seek Almighty Allah help to remove all problems due to black magic, envy, etc
  • Say Dua’ before entering the bathrooms
The Merciful nature of Almighty Allah.

Many people have this fear that I have done ao much sins and I cannot turn towards Almighty Allah or God’/Ishwar/Yaweh.

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Allah the Almighty said: O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.” It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal). .”

In the Quran

“Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins.1 He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.“

Al Quran (39:53)

How I knew I was afflicted?

  • Conjugal relations weakness. Was getting worse and worse
  • Getting angry and arguing with wife for no reason and got to extreme levels
  • Getting angry in office with colleagues
  • Laziness, feeling hopelessness
  • Getting dreams and nightmares. These nightmares were happening every 3-4 hours when sleeping at night.
  • Feeling something moving inside hands

Few years ago I had called up a Raqi(expert in Ruqyah )in my local area . I had searched Ruqyah term and got hold of his details. The gentleman gave a detailed insight on what Ruqyah is .
